World Food Safety Day

World Food Safety Day is observed annually on June 7th. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2018, this day aims to raise awareness about food safety issues and promote actions to prevent, detect, and manage foodborne risks. The goal is to ensure food safety along the entire food supply chain, from production to consumption, thereby contributing to food security, human health, economic prosperity, agriculture, market access, and sustainable development.
